STEP II

For medium oltage networks
STEP® II system allows the remote control and monitoring of equipments installed on a MV network from Augier or equivalent.

its RS485 serial port can communicate with a remote control system at several kilometers from the monitoring system of the substation.
THE BLUETOOTH COMMUNICATION
allows the configuration and maintenance actions from the PC without physical connection with the selected Augier-Master® or Augier-Slave® module.

FEATURES OF STEP II

COMMUNICATION
Only one AUGIER-master module can communicate with 600 AUGIER-Slave modules.
MV NETWORK
The MV network can be composed up to 255 departures, each departure has the possibility to have 255 derivations.
COMMUNICATION FREQUENCY
133 kHz communication frequency, injection on A and B phases in the case of a three-phase network
TEMPERATURE
Operating temperature from -20°C to +55°C
COMMUNICTAION SPEED AT THE PANEL
140 ms/module
For a 10 kilometers network equipped with a network transformer every 300 meters, the communication time will be about 4.3 seconds.
